Let me just state once again that my issue has nothing to do with Scott at Rival. I purchased the wheels from BRANDYWINE. BRANDYWINE told me that the wheels i was ordering did NOT require spacers. Should I have called around to see if this was correct? Maybe..but I didn't. I trusted someone that sounded like they knew a whole lot more than I did about these wheels and the fitment for my car. Yes it is dissapointing that at these kinds of prices Sportec can't make an aftermarket wheel with the correct offset. You would think that if you were an aftermarket company you would at least try and get a product for a car line's flagship vehicle perfect. If I wanted to I know I could return them but after searching for over a year for a wheel I like I just don't want to give them back. I don't track the car and don't have really any opportunities to go over 175mph so I can live with the spacers. Rival has done everything right in helping me fix the issue. If they hadn't I would be here screaming my head off.

I agree, if I went to a dealer I would expect some kind of knowledge of the product they are selling.

Scott at Rival reacted to your issues far better than most importer's.

The wheels will look great!

Thanks Zona....that is the whole point here. At least Scott stood up to help without any drama. He responded within 20 minutes of my email to him on a Sat. and offered the spacers at almost cost. He has won my future business.

That is weak. Brandywine needs to make this right.

Jon, this is Tommy from Brandywine. When we originally ordered your wheels I thought that you would not need the spacers. The Sportec catalogs do not mention them in the wheel catagories and I didn't see a part number for them. After Scott placed the order, we were informed that you would need them and now we are trying to resolve it for you. I am learing just like you guys and it was an honest mistake. All that matters is that Scott has done everything you can to take care of this and you are happy with the wheels.
Thaks again for understanding Jon, Tommy

No reason to fear spacers. Even Porsche use them on the Sport Techno wheels which need a rear 17mm spacer for the 996 turbo and C4S. The new 997 GT3 comes with a rear 5mm rear spacer as well. I guess the only thing was that plessdude wasn't advised that his wheels needed spacers. They are beautiful wheels and really suit the turbo perfectly.

If you didn't say it, I was going to. Spacers are not a big deal. I have them on my X5 4.6is for the winter wheels and I had them on my Audi S4. Why is evryone so down on spacers??

Because Sportec has addressed the MAF issue with thier Power kits, the spacer thing has become very acceptable for me. I would love to see someone from around here get the 650+ kit so we could hear about it and compare to the GT700.
