Tire pressure advice

I have a 996 TT with Techart Formula GTS and Michelin PS2 235-35-19 fronts & 315-25-19 rears. What should I run for tire pressures cold?

I always ran 36 fronts and 40 on the rears. You can run as high as 44 in the rear but I don't like to.

the above is a good place to start for street driving. If it gets much more spirited I would start checking tire pressures. I went out on the track with the tires you have and started at the above settings. came in and rears were 55psi!!
I keep them at 40 hot at the track. other wise you are pretty safe with the manufactures recs

Thanks for the tip Tom. I will begin to check my tire pressure after some very spirited driving. I always check tire pressure before going on a run but never right after, it would be interestng to see the change.

No problem, I think it's a safe way to start.

Tony, I think if you check them you will really be suprised!! I actually ruined a rear set at the track by being "careless" The side walls dont take much out of the range recommended. that includes too low or high.
