Arling: hahahaha
I got all the footage where there is no traffic...
and of course there are speeding evidences ready to be handed in to LAPD... wahahaha

I'll try to get it done tonite. I'll try to upload it to my school account... b/c i believe there is a download limit... so someone would have to help me on this...
perhaps ftp or watever... or i might just give it to racingflix.com...and let them host it for us...

I had a blast today and seemingly a good time had by all who came out. Lots of cars to drool over and very nice people to chat with. Not to mention the heart-pumping runs along the airport hehehe. We should definitely do this again!

BIG thanks to everyone at Lucent and anyone else helping coordinate this event.

Charles, Joe, Robert, Ron, along with a couple of other fellas....when are we doing a canyon run?

Cheers,
Al

….. and the pictures don’t do it justice. Unbelievable!!! The LA traffic at points was a bit unbearable but, couldn’t put a damper on the day. Huge thanks to all in involved putting this together and really sorry for those that missed out so, a quick recap.

If you got there at 9:00 AM the lot was already full so, you were parking across the way (good lot and you could see your car) with all the others that kept pilling it. There were a lot and I mean A LOT of cars, none of the pictures do it justice (not even the group shot). Anyways, in the morning they had lots of coffee, lots of juice and all kinds of sweets and a 6speedonline license plate frame. About an hour went by to meet, talk to and look at everyone’s cars and about 10:00 AM Kty Ktty (her license plate) fires up her 996 up with no mufflers on to signal all the others to get ready for the drive. I personally was shocked! What’s next with you women, first Janet Jackson bares her breast illegally, now this stunt with NO MUFFLER’s ???? you bad bad girls! Well, we’re off to a halting stop. The 405 freeway was so backed up even Buddy couldn’t have been arrested. Ok wait, maybe I won’t bet on that … we soon overcame and a few found there own way to Manhattan Beach via their own meet. Lots of lookers as we drove through there and on to Hermosa Beach via PCH at which point I received a frantic phone call from one of my brothers walking his dog screaming … what the hell is going on, you have to see this there’s trick Porsches EVERYWHERE coming down PCH!!!! At which time I calmly said “now look to your right just a little†and he goes (absolute truth) “THAT’S YOUR CAR!!†and I said “and that’s me.†Goes down as one of my funniest phone calls I’ve ever had. We continued on up to PV and the weather couldn’t have been better. I have to tell you the South Bay is so jaded when it comes to cars, not much seems to turn heads now days but, we woke’em up today. My favorite one was the people using their camera phones taking pictures of us. I felt like we were in a parade … well … I guess we were. Well, on to the point and park for group picture then back down into traffic again to Pacific Porsche and MAN!!! What a great LUNCH!!! Seriously, who do we pay? Set up something for a Paypal receipt and I’ll send some for sure. The day turned out perfect and then got better.I’ve been wanting a transparent bra for my turbo and the I won a $100 off certificate from the guys at Lucent Motors. How cool, I’ve never won anything before in my life!! Oh and don’t tell anyone but Tyson let me drive his brand new black shinny GT2 to boot!!!! Yeah Baby! Sssheeeshhh we tease him a little about not being able to fix his spoiler before the shoot out so he throws out the whole car and replaces it with a GT2 …. Sweet … I guess he showed us!

I have some pics I’ll try to post tomorrow

Thanks to everyone that organized this event and everyone that came out. It was a blast. Can't wait to do it again and maybe do a canyon run.

Robyn, you made me go straight home and order those bypass pipes. Now all i've been thinking of is the sound of your car. Can't wait to install them on my car next week.

Thanks again to everyone.

Enjoyed seeing all of you guys out there and seeing all the great cars. Thanks to Lucent for putting everything together and also for providing lunch.

I have some good photos that I took but I am having trouble posting them. If anyone can post them for me, I will e-mail them to you.

Thanks.

Back TT/GT2 look

What a great showing of cars.
What's the scoop on the black TT/GT2 look (not Tyson's GT2) with the centerlock BBS wheels and sequential shifter?? That car is SWEET. Didn't get a chance to meet/talk to the owner, but wanted to compliment you on one hot ride. Details?

MIK
