Anyone do the EVOMS throttle body Kit
thats what a few smarter guys then I told me...
but then not all tuning kits are alike...
there has been only a handful of bent rods... and they were boosting about 1.5 bars or higher with larger turbos....
the trick is to have a system that can produce the HP figures at lower levels ..
so u run bigger(not huge) turbos with less boost.. thus requiring less fuel...
then u do some decent piping and cooling to add efficiency.... thats it...
its more obvious then we tend to believe...

Mark, the y-pipe is new and wasn't on there when it was a 700.I had the 76 mm tb and modded stock y-pipe before but with no software change for it.I just bolted them on and didn't know there was a software change that would help me utilize the new hardware.Oh well, live and learn.

Intake air capacity, IC efficiency, hard piping size vs hoses, Y pipe size, throttle body size, splitter vs plenum, intake ports, valve size, cam lift/duration, exhaust are all links. If they are not matched all you do is create an obstruction or dam which requires additional boost to make more power. If you happen to be improving the weak link, you will make power up to the point of the next weak link. That's why a motor that creates more or equal power at a lower boost is a better or more efficient motor.
It is rather comical to watch people beef up one are only to find a restriction in another without given thought to the air flow of each individual component. These motors are really nothing more than an air pump with fuel added in the proper proportion of air or oxygen.
The real question comes down to was your motor designed or is it one guess after another?
