Data Acquisition

I currently have a G2X unit in my 996 GT3 RS and an AIM system in my GT-3 Cup. Really like the G2X unit, as it has a nice and bright basic display/dash that has programmable shift lights, rpm, and lap times. Easy to use on the track. Currently using a limited amount of channels. Works off GPS as well, like the others. AIM is more complicated and I have many more channels being used - brake pressure, steering angle, shock movements.

For the price, features and display, I am very happy with the G2X. As far as software, most dataacq units seem somewhat comparable, offering similar sorts of readouts. Like any other software, takes time to learn and definitely need repetition to reduce frustration. G2X has a demo program to review.
