Honestly, the power gains coming from HPF are way over then anything i would expect with just 8psi. Actually they were first claiming 7psi then said 8psi. That already is playing number games with PSI. Honestly i think they are running maybe 11psi and giving us those numbers, but they arent being honest with the psi numbers. At 8psi i would think even with the most efficient setup the M3 would make 480rwhp. They even claim these numbers with pump gas, which makes it even harder to believe.

And the big boys that aren't afraid of the M3's potential, all i can say is just wait alittle bit more.

M3 really is a great car and I' love to see it put out more. I hope all goes well with this HPF Turbo kit cause I don't care for the wussy whinning SC kits.

the most hp a stock-internals M3 can reliably handle is 462hp at the crank. See Dinan S3-R.
With built internals, 500whp+ but its still a bad idea.. you'd be better off just buying a used '01 Turbo and working from there.. it'll be cheaper, more reliable yet, be faster, and in the end it'll be a porsche.

Yes it is, the funnest car ive ever driven (modded). The HPF guys are overhyping the kit way too much and its well unbelievable right now.

Not true at all. My car put out about 700hp at the crank for awhile with no problems. With built internals im hoping for 1000HP +.

your car is a freak Taza.. a lot of these high pressure SC guys only post about their successes, when one of them blows up it doesn't end up on the forum because no-one wants to sound like an idiot. I'm not saying your motor has ever blown up, i'm just saying that i doubt its as reliable as forums make it seem.
i'd rather start with a car made for forced induction from the start, which i'm doing now

Not true at all. My car has been more reliable then even my EX 996tt. Ive ran it much harder then the TT also. All the guys on the forums boast about their kits, NO ENGINE HAS BLOWN with AA's SC kits (120+).

The 996tt gets very expensive to mod, the M3 can be a pretty good platform also. The real modding has just started for the S54.

Taza, how long untill you get your M3 back. I cant wait to see it. I am thinking about selling my 330 and going m3 to join the TT. Also, HPF posted numbers for 7Psi and then a second set of numbers for 8Psi. They just made a little more power at 8Psi. I think that is all the power that turbo can handle.

Vince, keep the m3 stock and RELIABLE and spend the 40K to get the car 600 hp on the GT2. To get more hp out of my m3, I just sold it and bought a Porsche.
