So Cal Drag Night?
So Cal Drag Night?
You guys interested in a drag night at a local strip? What's a good track these days?
I am still waiting for Speed Gallery to put together a streets of willow now that it's cooling off a bit...
Hell I'll even go to LACR. It'll be fun even if the track is .5 slower.... I beat everyone there in a RX7 TT.... I'm sure the TT will do just fine. It's really more about being at the strip and meeting the fellow car people IMO anyways.
Would love to run a Z06 if anyone knows a willing participant.

LACR is getting ready to close their doors, fyi.
Famoso in Bakersfield is the best track in socal. It's about 130 miles from downtown LA...they prep somewhat and usually have decent DA.

Ya i heard they are closing also but they are still open till at least April. If its not windy or raining, its getting pretty chill out there but then again theres still the whole slippery problem and altitude issue to mess with.
I just wanted to see what some Porsches run there b/c i know what my old setup (on the M3) runs there. I want to compare some fast cars.
Dgussin, have you heard of any C6 Zo6 times from LACR yet?

Aex: I would love to run your Z06 if you're going to be in LA. Knowing you I'm sure there's some nitrous or something sneaky. I hear that a (my) stage 3 will barely keep up. I live very close to Craig in Topanga Canyon.
I'm down to go to Bakersfield on a Thursday! Anyone else? Of course we have the whole holiday thing fast approaching.
