Thoughts and Feedback on Orlando Meet.

I want to first thank Britt and Rob. They both did an outstanding job at making this happen. Unfortunatly I got sick Friday night and debated about going, but decided to go in the end. I paid the price spending most of the time in the hotel room and missing work today.

It was nice to see so many nice cars in one place. Rob's guards red turbo was one of my favorites. I wish I had the chance to spend more time socializing with everyone but I was really under the weather.

Also want to say thanks to Bryan at FVD who helped me with a tire situation on Friday night.

Buddy,Gary.Keith and Eric I wish we got to hang more!! Chicago is right around the corner.

Duane

It was great to meet you. Too bad you were sick I wanted to go for a ride in that car of yours. As far as the show goes I think it was well put together the attendance was great and the greatest part were the people. Everyone there was someone I would hang out with in everyday life. Just a good group of people. No one is a car snob which makes the shows a lot more enjoyable. A lot of PCA meets I have been to were down right boring, but not here. Duane, next time I am in Miami I'll call you and we can hook up for lunch or dinner. If you are ever in G'ville you can do the same.

Duane-

I would echo Eric comments. As Sandie and I were driving back to Jacksonville we were discussing how much fun we both had in Orlando at this event. It was not just about our cars but truly was a social event as well.

I enjoyed getting to meet several new people from the board (too many to list), seeing a few others who I'd met in the past in Jacksonville (Rob, Gary, Eric, Max) and socialing at dinner and at City Walk (Buddy, Orlando, Brian, Eric, and Christine). I even met someone who attended the same college as I did in CT (which is rare)- big ups to Brian @ FVD. Small world.

To bad..... She is running well....

Will all you guys stop about the HRE's.... I will have HRE's they will be 543's instead of 2's... and black centers... If I don't like them as much you will see them for sale here.. Your all making me 2nd guess my decision...

I will just ask Eric (ESK) for help... He has lots of experience selling wheels...

I would also like to thank Britt and Rob for an outstanding effort. But, we also can't forget "Buddy" B/C if it was not for that little post "I will be in the Orlando Area if anyone would like to join me for a drink or Dinner" we might not have had the tremendous pleasure of meeting.

I have been on the phone with "XICO", "JULIAN", "ALEX" and "PETER" and we all can't wait for the next event.

This has turned out to be a very diverse group of People with one common passion. Thats is what this is all about.

Every car was amazing as was the ride up with the SoFla guys. My favorite was Evan's(?) car. Very tasteful.

Now I am looking for new wheels, my car is so boring next to all of yours

LOL. When I got mine it was also the only production version of the 996 that I had not driven too. I am sure you will get a chance one of these days.
