02TurboX50 is infamous around these parts
Thanks for the pics....that helps!
The only question I have at this point is that, in the picture, it looks like you turn the cylinder clockwise to remove the wing which seems counterintuitive. In addition, someone else mentioned that you need to turn it counter-clockwise which seems logical.

So which way do you turn it for the removal??????
Thx.

02TurboX50:

Follow the picture diagram. As I stated earlier, I removed the wing about two years ago, so I forget all the little details about the operation. You probably do have to turn the cylinder clockwise as the diagram suggests. I apologize for the confusion. Please let us know how you make out.

For those that have actually done this....

Do you turn the outer cylinder counter clockwise until the hole aligns with the inner cylinder hole and then use the spanner wrench to turn both cylinders clockwise?

that seems to be what the diagram is implying however, I just want to be sure?

Some mentioned using a rubber strap...however, if im not mistaken, dont both cylinders (outer and inner) need to be turned?

Heya W, I have "the tool" for wing removal. Stephen made it for me a while back and I've lent it out.. If you want to grab it off me, lemme know man... It makes it a LOT easier. The first time you take your wing off you NEED it. Mine was really caked in there and no rubber strap etc.. would work.
