I'm going to be honest, when the weather gets cold my car starts to scare me! Could be in my mind or do to several things, but I would take it easy at gt700 level, don't know :/

A few more newbie questions:

1.) What's high load? Are we just saying hard acceleration (WOT) at the higher gears (4th gear, etc?) vs accelerating in 2nd or 3rd?

2.) how does the ecu determine what 'safe' is? Does it just allow the higher boost or more aggressive timing until it senses knock and then backs it down?

3.) 25psi is 1.7 bar right? (using 14.7 psi as atmospheric pressure). WOW!
Hi Yellow, my pleasure and I should be upfront here in saying that I am in NO WAY or SHAPE a programmer on any level (well ok I can do some AEM now and then lol) and the more in depth level questions are things that the guys coding the software know. Most of them chose to protect/secure their secrets so there's not much us hardware-level guys can do.

1)Yes that's high load 3rd/4th gear WOT
2)The ECU in basic terms has multiple maps/settings that it's able to pick based on gas, temps and so forth (too many variables to list and some that I don't even know).
3)1.7bar on the 100 is correct....
