Those of us who know, wouldn't send our 996tt's to a Porsche dealer. Hopefully, they have one mechanic who is good followed by the rest who aren't so good. 
They use a flat rate book which isn't even close to the actual amount of time expended. In most cases they don't have the foggest idea as to what makes there car's accelerate or handle better than stock because they don't have experience in these areas.
There are many superior shops that charge a reasonable rate that work on Porsche's and most of us know who they are.
