44.5mm vs. 41.5mm Headers

What would be the DISADVANTAGE of running large 44.5mm headers on a Non-GT700 (or higher) GT2 instead of the smaller 41.5mm headers?

Suppose a GT2 with GT600/640'ish Mods.

From what I've read you sacrifice torque below 5500 RPM with the 1 3/4" primaries. There would also be more lag. Over 700 HP the larger tubes might give a little more high RPM torque.

You would lose low end torque and your car would be slower.
