What would you pay for a new 2003 Turbo Coupe?
Check out this link. BTW, the link is not the source I am referring to in the above response. I saw this after I had heard the news from my friend about Porsche's plans for the Turbo.

Autospies is certainly no authority, but, I just thought it was funny that I had heard the same thing before this came out.

Tim--I can get a new 2004 with a July build. I want the car before then and simply wanted to know what I could get off list of any remaining 2003's in stock. I also wanted to know if anyone knows of any 2004 turbos that are either in stock or not claimed coming soon, i.e. way before july build.

Lou, It's not fast but if you go under the PCNA web site, go under dealers, you can look at exactly what every dealer has. The list is surprisingly accurate. This will tell you nearly every car that is available, and you'll find precious few '04 coupes. The simple way is have your dealer pull the list of exactly what you are looking for.
Man, you're gonna take a big haircut to trade up for jsut 6,500 miles. Must be nice to be you.

Lou, As of last Friday Manhattan Motorcars had a spot available for an '04 coupe. If you call there, ask for Brian Miller (GM) and say you heard about it from Dr. Bill & Dr. Jim who were there last week for the Lotus Elise order.

Lou - honestly 6500 miles is notbad at all!! I say take whatever money its gonna cost you to upgrade/chenge your car and put it towards something else (anything form mods to a new watch to house stuff to a vacation etc....)...Just my 2 cents

Edit---I myself would easily pay $5000 more for a car with 6500 less miles. In other words, if I offered you $5000 to drive your car for the next 6500 miles, would you take it? I wouldn't. Just a thought.

WOW, that is quite a bit more than we pay. I guess that is the price to pay for a strong euro.

Lou, your thinking seems sound but in reality it probably costs you some more b/c dealers always have a way of making more $ than you think they can. I don't know MM date, give them a call. I would doubt that at this moment in time a dealer would let a pretty rare 2004 Turbo go at anything other than close to list. Your only salvation would be to find a new or <1000 mile 2003 that just went into service and maybe you get into that for $7000 ish. They won't give you good $ for your car and if you sell it privately you lose the sales tax credit which is probably close to $9000. If you can find the right situation, it might pay to make you happy but why don't you just buy an extended warranty for your car just in case, and be done with it. I'm reasonably certain you will come out ahead that way.
