I have no idea how you could be dissapointed in the RS4, it does everything well, while it isnt a 911Turbo by any means, it is by far the best 4 door sedan I have driven.
My only complaint with the RS4, is the "poofy" american seats as opposed to the Euro race inspired ones, Euro models also have a sport button on the flat bottom steering wheel which makes the throttle more senstive, tightesn the bolsters on the seats and a few other tricks. Another example of our litigous society keeps this from US shores. I stop over in Franfurt on the way to the US every now and then, who knows what will find its way in my German made cars :-)

Don't get me wrong, I still love and respect the RS4, it just didn't quite live up to what I expected. And again, I didn't drive the RS4, I'm sure I would have loved it then
m5 is much better 4 door! also, i dont like benz's much, but my mom loves hers and the cls55 amg would dominate the rs4. those are the two best 4 door sedans. m5 you just need to get used to the styling, it grows on u over time.

I actually wrote "including the M5" but backspaced...the V10 M5 is nice, but it doesnt have the traction or handling of the RS4, you can't beat AWD. I also feel more "connected" in the Audi, and I can see/feel where the Porsche - Audi relationship is, however, there is also a slight Audi -VW relationship as well. The M5 probably has more room for daily driving, but other than that, Audi rocks. Now, about those chrysler AMG's.... :-)
