Dreaded Check Engine Light
Okay, was out doing some spirted driving today and noticed my CEL came on. So now it's off to the dealer when I can get there, with a modified ECU, different exhaust and DV's. Any advice? Should I let them know up front what has been done to the car.
Have about 10,500 on the car.

When did the light come on exactly? How long have you had these mods....You can try to disconnect the battery for 15 min and re connect to see if the CEL will go off...I would not give any extra info if not asked..Good Luck..TTech

Disconnect your negative battery cable for fifteen minutes and then reconnect. The CEL will probably be off.

It is pouring out so I can't drive it right now. I guess I will need the radio code if I disconnect the battery right? anyone think it maybe a loose DV hose or such? I will see tomorrow if my boost is down first before trying the battery.

Could be many things. The 02 sensors, MAF, BOV pipe, intake pipe, etc. If you can get the code and read it I can narrow it down within a problem or two. I have also run into a few problems with the vacuum on top of BOVs splitting, this will throw a secondary air injection light . You can get the codes read at any AutoZone or like parts store. Simply have them give you the generic number and let me know what it is.
