Why is the Carrera GT's C/D so horrendous?

Why is the Carrera GT's C/D so horrendous?

The Carrera GT could be so much more if not for its terrible drag. i think it is close to .40 Had they made it more sleek, it would have destroyed the other cars in every test. As it is, I can't see how it will compete with the Enzo? Why is the CD so high?? Certainly Porsche could have done something!

thats wierd...im not sure that number is right?? even the 996 Coupe has a better C/D

I believe it has to do with high speed stability, not sure though.

That's because the car is making a lot of downforce. Downforce=drag.

But who cars when you have all that power to compensate. It will still go over 200...

The number is even higher I think, and yes all of Porsche's line is quite a bit more sleek than the Carrera GT.

if you think that the CGT is a POS you should check out the c/d of a formula 1 car. man are those things ****ty
