Techart type II front...advice and pics request

Hi,
I am planning on getting a Techart front right after we finish the GIAC group buy and wanted some advice and pics...
I am debating between the regular type II or type II GT. One of the main differences is opening on the side for brake cooling (only on II GT).
Also, I wanted to do the techart front with stock side skirts and keep my aerokit rear wing (I love it too much...) and wanted to know if anyone has pics of a type II front with stock sideskirts.
thanx,

Where are you going to get the GIACs?

I think they both looks aggressive, but the GTS kit is lower!

This is a close up pic of a Type2 GTS(front) with carbon fiber.

The GT is like the GTS but no carbon lip and the splitters I am getting will be inplastic since I want to paint them to match rear intake splitter...What I am concerned about is how will the holes on the side of the bumper (just in front of the wheels) look with the stock side skirts??

they have the lower lip in PLASTIC?!!? I want to get them.. I think my carbon lips are TOO much... I feel bad scraping it.

The carbon splitters are screwed into the bumper... its a weird shape overall... I wish I took a pic of it. It looks like an "L" shape... something like that....

rear fins are screwed in (only 1 or 2 screws)... and I dont think they added any glue either.... fit perfect to me.

roof wing are painted, but not yet installed.. I should get the car on tuesday.... maybe Wednesday.. I want to get it full-detailed.

Roof wing

How much is that roof wing? Do they make one for narrow body Porsches?

EM - there is no lip in plastic!! only carbon. The splitters however come in either plastic or carbon.
Pistol - that roof wing is like $800 here in the US and fits all 996 modles (they all have the same roof/rear windshield!!).

Msindi~~~
I think you should get the GTS bumper, and besides, you can always not install the front lower carbon piece...(i guess)

This is what I'm planning to do later on after my suspension mod...
gonna sell the one i have now, and get a gts...
and instead of the carbon piece, I might just custom make some alluminum plate to cover the bottom as I'm doing now...
a scrape guard... saved me quite a few times already~~~

the GT and GTS are the same except for the carbon parts.....I want the GT with plastic splitters to be painted...why pay an extra $1100 for a carbon chin if I am not going to use it??
Do you know if these come with mesh for the side holes??
How much do you want for your current type II spoiler??

I tried making an alluminum plate... but it doesnt quite fit properly...
but, if they sell a plastic lip in LA , I am VERY intrested!

and yes, the carbon lip uses 8 screws... and its removable.

msindi, I don't think u'll be interested in my front...
b/c it's been repaired...one of the bolt on part was broken, and i got my bodyshop to repaired it using fibre glass...(the little part u can't see behind the left signal light) (can't be view if you don't take the signal light off)
if i'm selling it? it'll be pretty cheap i think...I might just trade it in when i got new one, ...i guess the shop will just give me few hundred to maybe maximum 1 G for that bumper...so might not even sell it after all@_@...

EM996, I'll try to take a picture that I have for the scrap guard...
but for scrap guard, u have to take the carbon chin off...
it's actually 2 piece instead of 1 piece...(3 piece if including the factory plastic middle part)
