i AM DEBATING TAKING OVER SOMEONES LEASE JUST FOR AN EXTRA TRACK CAR. THINK ABOUT IT. FOR 500 A MONTH FOR 5 MONTHS i CAN GET A VETTE AND BEAT THE HELL OUT OF IT FOR THE TRACK AND THEN GET A DIFFERENT TRACK CAR. ANY THOUGHTS

I don't see how you can go wrong there - I would do that if tracking the car is of much interest to you - you will prob need to replace the tires though b4 turning the car back if you track it often in the remaining months of the lease for I don't think you can retunr a leased car with bald tires - or can you ?

^ That is a good point, who pays for excessive wear and milage.

Is the car still under warranty?
Is the car in good shape?

You become liable for the car when taking over the lease. If the car has experienced any damage/abuse not covered under normal wear & tear, you may end up paying a lot more than you expected upon returning the vehicle.
