Techart Wheels

After seeing all the great looking and different wheels at the Carmel run I finally decided to go with the 19" Techart Formulas w/Silver Finish paired up with Conti 235 fronts and 315 rears.

There are certainly nicer looking wheels i.e HRE etc... but I guess I wanted to keep the true Porsche look with a little bigger wheel/foot print and a slighly different look from Stock.

$5600 out the door with balance mounting and 4 wheel alignment. I hope that sounds about right to you guys?

I think my next purchase will be the Techart front nose and side skirts.

That's why I asked if he had bought them yet. Oh well, everyone else already spilled the beans. YOU GOT RIPPED OFF! You can get the wheels with tires for under $4000. At least that is what I found. I found them even cheaper yesterday for $2400 for the wheels. I will release the info once I get confirmation. SHould get confirmation tommorrow.

I would be interested in knowing where you found those prices as I am also shopping around for Techarts. I am looking for 18" Formula GT's. Most people I have talked to want over $3000 but I know I can get them lower.

Are you talking just wheels? Also, I believe the thread starter is referring to Techart Formulas. The GT version cost slightly more.

www.bydesignautomotive.com has a special on them now. Something like $3800 with tires for 18's

speaking of wheels, who gives the best deals on HRE's. I might want to get a set like Shank's. The matte finish on the spokes with the polished lips looks sick!

instylemale,
yes, the Techart 18'' rear requires 15 or 18mm spacers.

regular Formula is silver & Formula GT is black finish. black finish on 18'' is semi-gloss. black finish on 19'' is high-gloss finish.
