Next Mod: Suspension
Next Mod: Suspension
Okay. since i'm in the hospital watching over my sick little brother (surfed thru 38 pages of 6speedonline old posts, hehe), i decided my next mod: suspension.
Here is the deal, 2004 4S (won't be adding additional horsepower anytime soon) running 18' Chrome TechArt wheels in the winter (yes, i drive my car in the winter and yes I need a suspension setup that is also reliable/useable in the cold) and 19' Silver TechArt wheels in the summer.
I don't think I will track my car anytime soon but I do drive pretty fast on the streets these days and I drive pretty hard (stock suspension is a little soft sometimes when cornering). So mostly hard street driving, minimal track.
After 38 pages of research, i've narrowed down my search:
KW variants or PSS9 or X73(or 74, i forget which one is AWD one)
ADDED: JIC Cross
with H&R front and sway bars
Ok. now, which one? pricing is not an issue. i want a comfortable ride, can be more firm than OEM. something that will hold up in cold weather driving (for those ski/snowboarding trips), anything else I should consider???
ANY SUGGESTIONS/COMMENTS would be good greatly appreciate
Thank you in advance!
Jason

just got my jic cross coilovers (med spring rates) and gt3 sway bar installed by grussel in NJ.
car looks way better dropped to gt2 specs. way more aggresive.
more important, handling is amazing. car turns in really accurate. car feels as comfortable if not more comfortable than stock.
def. recommended.
btw grussel (vipertestorosa) in NJ installed them for me. excellent job ,knows his Sh*%, highly recommended. purchased from vividracing (board sponsor), easy transaction.
