It looks like our "sticky" thread lost its adhesiveness.
I e-mailed the Performance box people last night and discovered that I will be able to acquire data at walking speed holding the unit out in front of me. I guess I could glue my remote antenna to my hat if I wanted to look even goofier.
For that reason, I added a battery pack to my order.
Since I will be starting out trying to learn autocross, I think this will be helpful to me, and perhaps to others of you who autocross regularly. I will be able to set my starting line, finish line and any splits I want to time along the way to find out where I am improving or getting worse. I can see this as an advantage i.e. to time a slalom section, or any other segment might be needed. I could even use the 1 foot rollout feature at the starting line to make the total elapsed times closer to what the official times would be.

Just went down to Vbox today to pick up 2 units and they were boxing up the 6speed orders... It doesnt look like shipping will be included since several never confirmed, but the unit was 448$ with our discount... looking forward to some numbers...
