Anybody else having annoying problems with the remote locking and unlocking of doors on your turbo ?
Both keys work fine about 75% of the time but out of the blue, it malfunctions. I end up standing next to the car and pushing the remote over and over to get it to work. If I get impatient and unlock the car by using the keyhole, the alarm goes off.
It is totally unpredictable when this might occur. I expect a better remote in a car of this price range.

I seem to remember reading about similar topic on this forum but cannot seem to find it. I will be taking the car in for service in about 2 weeks and want to be able to tell the advisor that it's not the remote battery. I think there was another topic about a recent TSB on 03 turbos. Thanks for your help.

 

Happened once. Dealer had no explanation.

 

always happens to me...i lost hope in these stupid remotes...im sure theyll eventually offer the cayenne keyless system on the 997 or 998...

 

also, if you send me your e-mail i can e-mail you the key TSB...
My VIN # strangely enough was not in those affected!!
I will still have the dealer see if he can 'hook me up'

 

Same here, had to bring it back to the dealer.
