Just drove a very nice stock TT

Had a visit from a fellow 6speeder to compare notes on TT's and mods - I'll let him chime in if he wants to. Suffice it to say he's a very pleasant young guy with a stick shift 911 TT. He learnt to drive a stick in his TT - and drives it very well I must say !

After comparing notes on the various mods we've both performed we took it in turns to drive each others cars.

I'd forgotted what it was like to drive a more or less stock TT and after he drove mine I suspect there maybe a few mods in the pipeline for his 911 :-)

Tim,

Thanks for your kind words. I can't stress how much I appreciate you taking the time out of your day off to not only help me verify that my shifter is indeed 'normal' for a porsche, but also give me the opportunity to experience what the 996 turbo is like, 'unleashed'.

Your car is absolutely amazing, both stunning in blue, but also much much faster than my Turbo. Officially the second porsche I've ever been in, let alone driven = ) Ever figure out why your car hit such high boost during our cruise?

Hope you and your family enjoy a wonderful new years. Thanks again, keep in touch, and don't be a stranger.

ps: took apart the shifter today and aligned it using the cable alignment tool. now it's much smoother than before. Also got a universal garage clicker setup to open both the community gate and the garage door, waiting for the Targa switch to come in for the soldering.
