this is dr jim and i must say that dr bill should be applauded for taking care of this silverstar issue. Rave and SS owe him dinner at Lugers- here's what he prefers....
- tomatoes and onions with Luger sauce
- steak for two- medium
- german fries- well done
- creamed spinach
-butterscoth praline ice cream with schlagg(whipped cream)

Not that it matters but I disagree with what a lot of you are saying. The GM standing behind an SA who treated a customer the way they did is unacceptable, at least in my book (if it happened the way it was described).

Do you feel you would of added to it?
Ok smartass. From the replies to this thread at least a few still had something to add. The issue does concern me since I "am" a Porsche owner. Things like this do help me and others determine who we do buisness with or send business to. The part of being banned or refused service because of a post Rave made on here bothers me.

Perhaps next time before I post on here I should ask your permission first...

Guy's to be fair to Silver Star, I think we should give a pass and chalk it up to an isolated event, my car is going there tomorrow, I feel confident all will be fine.

I wouldn't be so quick to judge. Perhaps the SA has been there for many years and she's done a wonderful job. Should the GM fire her over this one incident? Could it be that she was told to "ban" Rave? I'm in a customer service business too and have been involved in many "he said, she said" incidents. Unless the SA was completely at fault and wrong, a good GM will handle the situation by placating the customer and assigning a new SA.

I feel violated! This is the real Dr. Jim and the previous post was a computer hijack by Dr. Bill while he was at my office. Since my computer was used, if there are any free dinners to be handed out, I should be included. At least Rave paid up quick for me hooking him up with Dr.Bill. I might just as soon starve if i waited for a thank-you dinner from Dr. Bill. The butterscotch praline sounds good, though.

Don't forget the case of oil you cheap bastard, another $40 bucks. I'm not that good at math but I do think 75+45 is still less than 200. Not that I'm counting. I guess next weeks dinner is on you!
