I've tried to make it a point not to sacrifice anything for something else. I've done fairly well at this over the last 10 years or so, slowly adding to my collection instead of trading one for another. However, I did crack last October when I sold my 993TT...

...and bought my GT2...

I sold an '03 Speed Yellow/Black C2 6 speed Coupe (4500 miles) and a mint '86 Guards Red/Black/Black C2 Cab (29K miles) to upgrade into the TT, which only had 3800 miles on it. They were great to have, but time gets away from you and with other activities and throw kids into the mix of life, not enough time to actually enjoy them to the fullest. In a perfect world with loads of garage space and if a person doesn't care whether they just sit for long periods of time, I'd have those two cars and my new/used TT, among all sorts of other fantastic machines. Money would be the other must have though!

No regrets getting the TT however! Just can't wait for spring to roll around so I can experience it's greatness again and again!

Did anyone else sacrifice another car to keep their turbo?
VW R32... I loved that car and was hoping to own it for ever... Also gave away my '87 951 (to the brother-in-law so it stayed in the family) for garage space.
