It's done, I sold my '07 RS4! What a wonderful car, but I already have a nice 4 door AWD ('03 4Runner V8 Sport) in addition to my '01 Turbo. As much as I didn't sacrifice the RS4 for the turbo, it simply took up space, time and money I would rather give to the turbo.

Did anyone else sacrifice another car to keep their turbo?

 

I sold my M3 to get a TT but I don't know if that counts lol
Although I'll always miss the M3 I'm definately happy I made the move to the darkside hehe

Haha yea man its great!! I juss finished wiping her down. You don;t know how mnay times I walk down into my garage just to pinch myself and realize its still there and its not a dream lol

 

Welcome jrgatfh, I am kinda new here myself. Whatever you sacrificed, sold, traded in for the turbo will work...its all good :-) I am guessing will see allot of NSX's (like myself) M3's and Supras here.

haha yea definately.....my friend just picked up an RS4 such a nice car and the interior and functionality and practicality of it is awesome!!...Must of been hard to part with but there's nothing like a TT and the color of yours is amazing!!

 

I did the same, went from having an M3 Cab and the Turbo, then sold the M since I never drove her.

 

I sold my 2000 M5 to get the Turbo, hurt like hell too. I'm gonna go and buy it back when I move to a home with more "useable" (garage) space. I'm already cramming 4 into a 3 car garage.

 

I sold my SY '05 Carrera S for a turbo that was two years older. The turbo only had 7K miles on it though.

 

So far I've only sold my C5 vette and still looking for the Turbo. Don't expect to sell the 540i but it will have to go back outside. So I will give up frost free windows this winter.

 

Another M3 convert, but I wouldn't call it a sacrifice having to get rid of it.

 

I loved my RS4, it did everything well...outside of being a 911 turbo. I made the commitment on the Audi before I found the deal on the Porsche, however an interested party offered me more than I paid so it eased the pain a little. It isnt that I had to sell it, just made sense to. I know, there I go making sense again .

The buyer asked what I was selling the RS4 for and I said I already had a 911 turbo that I wanted to concentrate on and he about $hit himself. Kinda surprised me as the price he paid he could've had a very nice low milegae turbo/GT2. No regrets.

I sold a 2001 E55 AMG. I loved the car, and once I get the garage space I think that I will buy an 04, or 05 E55 as a daily driver.
