very possible...navtv and scosche both make fiber interfaces to retain the Bose but swap the source unit....as far as all the responses of Bose is crap blah blah blah that's complete personal opinion. We have a 50/50 split of cars we retain Bose and guy rewire/replace everything

vogz - you have to rewire the amp to head unit - the speakers are pretty easy to determine where the end (9 volt batter to terminations gives each speaker a little pop)

It really was not bad - and I really like the way the double DIN unit looks in the dash - almost stock
