Removing headers?
Has anyone installed studs into the heads and used copper nuts to torque everything down? Seems to me to always be the safer option with aluminum heads, no? Especially if you intend to take them on and off more than once. I'd hate to accidentally crossthread or overtorque one of those and have to helicoil the damn thing...
Does anyone make a stud kit?

Focus on the collector side first. Remember not to gring it totally flat as you could weaken the weld. If you are conservative and open up some but focus on smoothing the most you will be happy. There were some coated and ported headers in the for sale section. Craig had some and someone else also at one time. Good luck. I did this also and it is not hard. Also make sure you clean the snot out of them before you reinstall them or you could ruin a turbo with shavings. Also get the right bit for the job. A dremel may smooth some but will take forever to cut the meat.
