New? GT2 wheels

I was in the shop of my local dealer and noticed a GT2. It had factory 12'' and 8.5" wide wheels that looked like the narrow spoke Boxter optional wheels. Is anyone familiar with these? I wonder how heavy they are? The car had the OEM 235/315 Rosso tires.

Carnewal has them in both GT2 and Turbo sizes and I think I saw it as an option in the '04 C4S order guide.

Front -- 8.5"et40 -- 24.86lbs
Rear -- 12"et45 -- 29.26lbs

These are about 4 lbs per wheel lighter than the previous solid 5-spoke wheels which were standard on the GT2.

Thanks Jack(LA). Might be an interesting 996TT upgrade wheels. However they weigh 4-5 pounds more than standard hollow spokes don't they?

Yup, that's the wheel -- it looks the same as your old GT3 wheels -- just different width and offset for the rear.
