Well I hought I had my mind set on a black 02 TT, but then I saw another which which is roughly $3K more but has almost 10,000 miles less. I had the first inspected and will inspect this one tomorrow. The second also has a Nav system which the first didnt have.

If the 2nd one checks out fine ater the PPI is it worth it to spend $3000 to get 10K less miles?

Thanks

If the second vehicle is in the same (should be better with less miles) condition as the first then 3k for 10kmiles AND Sat Nav I'd say is worth it.

For me, it would all come down to color, options, equipment and condition. The Nav is nice to have, but it's CD-ROM based and not "state-of-the-art". $3k is probably around 5% of the purchase price, and not insignificant. No two cars are identical in condition, so for me, the one in the best condition would get my vote.

I agree with Alpha get the car in the best condition with the color and options you like best. What's the actual mileage on each car?

What year. I love NAV but 01 NAVs are starting to look like 8 track. Almost better not to have one...

All else equal, I would pay the $3k for the 10k less miles. For me, 10k is eqquivalent to 2 years of driving, probably. Agree with the nav...the 02 navs were pretty much useless especially compared to what is offered today (even the protable ones)...I wouldn't pay a premium for that.

Lots of cars out there...just need to be patient to find the "right" one for you.
