CD Changer Replacement

I've been doing a little research but I could not find to much about it. It's an 02 with the Bose option and the 6-disc in the back (tape in the front). Can you buy an aftermarket changer replacement that plays MP3 format CDs. I thought about doing the iPod kit (I also have this for the Alpine), but I really hate having to mess with my iPod.

I have a Alpine 9835 out of my truck, but I really do not want to replace the headunit if I do not have to. If it ends up coming down to it though, can a place like Car Toys change the headunit without losing any quality of the stereo (or have to change any speakers)?

Brand is not specific, but I do not want some unknown name brand

I find it easier to mess with my Ipod rather than mess with CDs
