I've never heard of this happening before. But without a few modifications to your thread title, you will only get the *** clowns above to respond, and they think they are being funny just telling you to wait patiently . . . They'll just keep telling you that for months. Meanwhile all the other boys on the intraweb will be laughing at you, and their little practical joke. But I don't want that to happen to you, so . . .

The owners of this board, and the moderators, scan the New Posts quickly each day to see if anything needs their attention. Unless you put your thread title in all caps, and with some exclamation marks, they are unlikely to notice it. Something along the lines of: "HELLO!!! MODS??? IS ANYONE HOME??? I NEED SOME HELP OVER HERE, AND I MEAN NOW!!!" should suffice.

Another idea, if you get no response from that, or if you don't want to wait that long, is to post a thread with the head of the New Member Welcome Committee's name in the title of your thread. His screen name is Vicious (don't be alarmed - he's very nice, and loves new members. That's just the name of his Vodka company). Just post a thread title like: "Vicious - Noob here - get in here and solve my problem!" or something similar. He's a lot of fun, and he'll respond right away.
