Search For 991 GT3 To Rent / Try

I'm new to this forum and I want to thank everyone in advance for their help.

I live in Los Angeles and I currently have a '13 M3. I drove a 997.1 GT3 in the canyons in Palm Springs a few years ago (as part of a World Class Driving 5 car experience) and it literally changed my outlook on my dream car (it was previously a 911 Turbo). I will literally never forget that drive and I have tremendous respect (and jealousy!) for those of you who own GT3s. Honestly if anyone ever mentions an M3 and a GT3 in the same sentence I just laugh, as that just means there's no way they have tried a GT3.

Anyhow, recently I have been looking to rent a 991 GT3, as I'm both very curious to see how it drives and because I'm hoping to eventually own one as a 2nd car (although I'm not quite there yet). I spoke with Beverly Hills Rent A Car and another contact of mine who has a high end shop and unfortunately neither of them have one in their fleet right now.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I might be able to try / rent one in LA (preferably in the Westside area)? I'm looking to give it a try for a couple of hours, although I realize that sometimes there are 1/2 or 1 day minimums.

Please note that I would be happy to pay someone to try their car if they're up for that, although I realize most people probably won't be up for that. For what it's worth, I used to work at Toyota Headquarters and GM Headquarters and I have owned a 997 Carrera S Convertible, a few M3s, Mitsubishi GT3000 VR4, Dodge Stealth Twin Turbo, etc, so I'm definitely used to driving fast cars.

Feel free to reply to this or to PM me if you would like. Thanks in-advance for your help and enjoy your GT3s!

Jeremy
