I agree!!! I snapped that plastic shifter linkage the third day after I bought my car. The car was towed to this dealer and it took them a month to fix it They told me the part was special order and had to be obtained directly from German Factory. Such bull****. unfortunately, i was a 6speed newbie at that time.

 

Whatever happened to their "72 hours vehicle exchange guarantee new or used vehicles 90-days or 3000 miles warranty."

Extra mark-up obviously was needed to keep those pipes smoking.

 

He can have mine for $120K, then he would have both of them

Plenty of dealers price high, but generaly they wind up dealing down to a price that is 0 to 25% over private market... but to sit with it for over a year???? pass the pipe.
