Seatbelt swap?

I think I might have found a car ... but it has red seatbelts which I'm not sure I like. I assume it's easy enough to swap them out for some black seatbelts? Just figured I'd ask.

It's funny ... out in LA you see 996 TTs *everywhere*. Here in Dallas they are almost rare. I rarely see any on the road, and having a helluva time finding one within 500 miles for sale. Of course, insisting on black/black does limit my options but man, if I was back in LA I would have 20 cars to choose from LOL. I'll travel if I have to but just trying to avoid that ...

Oh and one other question. If I have a VIN is there anyway possible to get a full description of the car including all factory options, aside from getting it from someone at a dealer? I don't have a relationship with any P dealers around here, and I doubt they will give me the info if I'm not buying a car from them. But I'm looking at several different cars and the indies that are selling them are so clueless when I ask for an *exact* option list. I'm just trying to reduce unnecessary travel time to go see cars I won't end up buying due to wrong options, etc.

Not to bad of a job. There is a hidden screw that is a PITA if you don't know where it is at.

The VIN can give you the options through PCNA. Call them with VIN and they can give you the options.

seh1 is infamous around these parts
sandoval was looking for red belts. also, be aware that there was a change between 01 and newer models; something to consider if someone offers to exchange.
