I think I'm going to sell my 05 Turbo S (Blk on blk) with 4000 miles, GT600 kit, Aerokit and HRE 545R's.

How much should I be looking for.

I'm thinking of a new Z06... I miss my old one... fun, cheap, good times.... but I would miss my turbo also... I've had 5 911's and keep getting back into them.

After having driven a new Z06 (albeit only for about 10 minutes), I could unequivocably say that I wouldn't ever consider getting out of a modded Turbo in favor of the Vette. Just my .2

That's perfect planning! Now you can just trade, straight across for a new Vette and not have to worry about what to do with the $$$ you lost.

I had seriously considered an 06 ZO6 before buying my 996TT. The fit, finish and overall quality of the Vette is just not even close to the Porsche. Even though performance was very impressive.....it still couldn't hang with a modded 996TT. As well, I just couldn't see paying $75,000 for a new Vette, when next year you could buy the same car with 5,000 miles on it for probably $60,000.

Have you checked the depreciation of a 996tt lately? I'll bet from a percentage perspective its a neck-an-neck race.

Having bought my 2002 about 4 months ago, I took advantage of the major depreciation......considering the car was $125,000 new and I paid half that with only 6000 miles.

I love my TT, but I still think about those smoky burnouts and tail out antics that my M3 (and likely a Corvette) was so capable of.

I had a lightly modded 02 Z06. It wasn't the quickest car. It ran 12.1's.

It was just fun to drive, you could beat it with little regard as it was inexpensive to operate. It sounded bad ***, and handled nicely.

Someone mentioned quality. I almost didn't buy it coming from a 01 996 Turbo at the time, I was just appalled by the quality of the interior and almost didn't do it. I actually rented one on a business trip and found it so fun to drive that I bought one within days of getting home.

I talked to my wife. She says I can't sell it. She pointed out "how deep" I am into the Turbo S and how amazing it is. She proposed that we should buy a low milage Z06 when the opportunity comes up.

Seth.

I beat a new Z06 up pretty hard at the dealership (The sales guy was nuts, he let me run that thing hard through a mountain road). The car was glued to the road, and ran into corners fast and transitioned like a 3100lbs car should.

I think I'm going to sell the Model T to free up a parking spot and put a Z06 in that spot.

GL with the sale, but you might want to advertise it as a EVOMs stage 4 not a GT600.

We just received a 2006 gm company demo Z06, I can save you thousands so you can have both.
