So I have a few exhausts in mind....

All,

So as time goes by and I am continue my search for my car I have started "collecting" my mods...I already have tires and wheels will be showing up soon...on my list to get is exhaust, coils, pedals, and speedometer/tach, etc faces (red!)

What do you all think of the following exhaust systems?

Fabspeed sport - I already heard many good comments on this in another current thread...

B&B Tri Flo - I have had this on both BMW's I owned and loved the sound and checked out the sound clips on the Porsche and it sounds sick but concerned wtih the drone in cabin - anyone know more about this?

Eisenmann - again, I had this my M and loved it...a little bit of maneuvering to get it on but once it was on was to my taste...nice sound, no drone, etc....anyone know about this one or had it on the car?

Milltek - Don't know too much about this exhaust but heard some sound clips and again, it sounds good...

If any one of these is anything like a Gruppe M and resonates in the cabin (this is on a M3) please let me know so I won't get it...it was way too much to handle...I am looking for a nice aggressive tone at speed and when screaming at high RPM but not so much monster cabin noise at 40-65MPH...so far the fabspeed sport sounds good but input on all the other exhausts or others would be great!

any info will help!

Thanks again all!

M

You should also look into the Europipe. They have many satisfied customers here on 6speed.

I have heard the same about the EP. My second choice would probably be the Milltek

There are a ton of exhaust threads here. Do a search.

Europipe's site is www.europipe.be

I have the PSI exhaust, which is supposidly the Europipe with a different brand name. I did so much research and looking around and listening to sound clipa and I absolutely love this exhaust. Deep and throaty sound, but still has a little resonance in the cabin between 2000- 3000 rpm. It really doesn't bother me at all though.

I have owned several M3s and the first thing you got understand is that the aftermarket for the 996TT is completely different than that of the M3.
Sorry but it's mod 101 all over again dude.

OCTurbo is infamous around these parts
awe

Is the awe with 300 cell cats significantly louder than stock exhaust? I like the idea of no check engine lights and I know it's a solid product, but i want an exhaust that is more aggressive than stock.

We use a lot of B&B stuff on the 930's, where the quality is excellent. The 996TT B&B exhausts we have had different results with.

This is from the most recent B&B exhaust we had in the shop. We pulled it and replaced it with a Fabspeed Gen 3.
