Thanks guys. The wing was $500 shipped. It did require a little "love" from the body shop to smooth it out a bit and clean it up. But, I feel it was a great buy.

i got the ruf carbon fiber for 500 from him. just keep trying.
there was one small blemish but otherwise pretty clean. for the
money you can not go wrong. i am just trying to decide if i want to paint
it or leave as is.

This is the crap I hate, i was just about to place an order with this guy, leave him a bad feedback so people will know they're getting.

 

Man I hate waiting for this to go somewhere. Mashaw is gonna hook it up most likely now. Cause this thing is junk, I remember reading about a guy commenting on (what if we go 180+ what will this wing do?) Well i believe it will fly off just like on that sad excuse for a movie Redline...

 

OK here it is 3 or 4 weeks later and he still has not resolved this - won't take it back, refund and won't replace it. He told me 3 weeks ago he would send another one - but I haven't seen anything yet. In fact, I've written to him 3 more times and he has not responded.

As I said earlier - buyer beware. Good luck to you if you decide to purchase from this guy AND I learned a good lesson about buying from out of the country and thinking that I could get a good deal "cheep".

Next time I purchase from someone at least in the country and probably from one of our sponsors...

BTW, I just took the wing to a body shop and they quoted me ~$500 to fix it...

Just emailed him an offer on some parts. I mentioned Rich's predicament and strongly suggested that he work to resolve this quickly in order to maintain a positive image with 6speed members. I hope that he does this as his items and relative pricing seem to be worth considering...

 

Thanks Kato for your efforts. I heard from him again last week. He stated that he sent me a new wing and that it was returned 'cause I didn't pick it up from the shipper - he says I'm costing him lots of money - funny he thinks that way, 'cause I'm the one out $500...

I informed him that never received a notice from any shipping company regarding a package being delivered to my home. He asked what I wanted to do and I asked him to ship me a new wing - we'll see what happens...

 

I ordered some GT3 seats from this guy and they were no bueno.

Cost me a lot of dough in shipping, but he did refund my money. His products are not up to the standards most of us would expect.

 

Has anyone purchased a set of carbon fiber mirrors from this guy?

 

Wing came in with one wrap of bubble paper on in in a big box, to say the least there was a 6" crack on the edge. We went back and fourth and he ended up giving me back $100. I cost me $180 to fix so I cant complain. It ended up costing me $380 total not bad.

 

I was going to pick up a TA CF wing from this guy - based on the mixed opinion I guess I should wait for my next Taiwan trip to buy it after inspection!
