BTW, thanks for the negative rep Ruf550. Notice that I have not responded in kind. Welcome to 6Speed.

Changing your stock airbox on a relatively stock car is fools gold.
It is not like you are going to have tire shredding power by changing your
airbox. The new design sold by Kevin at UMW looks very good. I would think that Kevin markets this part for higher horsepower cars. But for
guys with K-16 cars buying airboxes to increase power is a joke.
IMHOO (In my humble opinionated, opinion)
Oh, and this rep thing, negative or positive is a JOKE.

I blew a MAF when my car had the stock airbox still under warranty...not with the V-flow.
Marty, the V-flow has a noticable effect on performance - the turbos spool quicker (less lag) and the throttle response is much improved...both very desirable results. I installed one of the first units in my car when it was K16 and it was a very worthwhile upgrade, IMHO. Great bang for the buck at $700 or so.
I may be the exception, but I would offer - don't knock the V-flow - it has been a great upgrade for me - no problems in two years, great 1/4 mile times and trap speed, daily driver, 20,000 spirited miles, the list goes on...all good.
