My Hurley Connection
My Hurley Connection
Since I have no turbo of my own (yet) with which to regale you of tales with, I thought I'd relate this tidbit.
The mug I am drinking from right now, and a few others like it in my cabinets, didn't originally belong to me. My dad started a small collection when he used to own part of Brumos. It was a regular occurance for Hurley Haywood to come into the store, ask for the keys to a car, and take it out for a spin. During said spin, he'd have a cup of coffee (drinking hot coffee while driving early 80's turbos - sans cupholders, of course - is something everyone does, right? I am sure he was very gentle with the car...). When he was done, the mug would invariably be left in the passenger footwell, ready for my dad to collect and bring home, and use as his coffee mugs for the next 20 years
I'll post pics sometime
