Well, after two months of owning my x-50 I decided to do my first upgrade. After speaking to my upsolute rep I decided to try out their ecu upgrade for 500 bucks. I've heard of people having problems with them on x-50s but my rep told me that they now have a program specifically designed for the x-50 so I thought I would give it a shot and if I didn't like it I would go with Giac or something else. Well, I installed the thing and the car pulls really friggin hard now, it feels much faster! I didn't notice anymore lag then when it was stock either. Anyways, this is the best 500 bucks I've spent.

 

I experimented with them back and forth on the dyno to where it was getting good results so you may have one of my programs. I did however go with Protomotive and there is a "BIG" difference

 

Yea, I actually emailed someone over at Protomotive about their ecu's but nobody ever got back to me. How much did the Protomotive ecu upgrade cost?

 

I wonder what the HP gain is with an x50 ?
