Easy to Undo Upsolute?

How easy is it to undo the Upsolute ECU upgrade--I believe there is ome soldering involved. I am thinking about just trying it out, but if I don't like I am going to go the GIAC route.
Thanks

Steve-

Be very careful. The mother boards in the Porsche's ave very sensitive to heat. The factory chip is epoxyed to the board and requires special techniques to lift it.

If you apply too much heat or heat it multiple times, you can very easily run into problems.

If you would like to talk further, call me.

If you dont like it, just send the ecu to giac and they will overwrite the file..it's that simple. I would not try to unsolder the chip on your own.

Upsolute keeps a record of your stock file and can simply download it back. Very simple.

Yes...however that should only be handled by the pros.

Steve-

I'm sorry. I should have explained myself better.

I know that you will not be doing the work, but a trained professional will be.

I suggest that once you make a decision, stick with it. If you don't like the chip, desoldering by the tuner will be required. Desoldering equals more heat.

thanks Mike and everyone else. with the post re a GIAC price reduction, i think i am going to wait to find out what the new pricing will be. may make more sense to go with GIAC since i already have evo diverter valves and exhaust.
