Wait until you have a claim! State Farm will burn you sooner or later!

I was with them from age 16 on, and everyone warned me. Well they finally burned my wife (and I) by saying that the vandalism at the ski resort was from her backing into another car and busting the mirror. How does that explain the rear wiper being bent straight out!

Anyway, get more bids and prepare to save money and get better service!

Roger

Was on the same boat last month... 1 week after I got my TT, Mercury Ins. bill came and it was a whopping $4600/6 mos (I have no tickets and over 30 years old).. Was only paying $500/6 mos on my C4S (same coverage.. 100/300)...

Well, I dumped them and swtiched over to Ameriprice (aka American Express)... $700/6 mos... nice, huh ???

Another data point...

I have '05 MCS, an '03 TT and an '00 ML430.
For all three cars I pay just over $2083 per year for myself and my wife.
We carry a $1k deductable and have multiple discounts applied. The TT by itself is about $1200 per year.
Insured with Liberty Mutual, found the service and cost to be sustantially better than AAA

I got quotes from Geico, AAA, Progressive etc... since my car is an X50 ...they're rating it as a GT2 ($4500 a year or so).

I called this guy from Liberty Mutual and I think its about $1100.00 with a 1K deductible here in San Francisco.
