Safety First - Just Added Autopower Roll Cage

Either you hate or love me...but here is another one I have been waiting for this to come back from powdercoating. This is the Autopower Race Roll Bar with options for the 996 Carrera and 996 Turbo. The Race Roll bar is sold with options to either have a removable diaganol bar and harness bar or not. All Autopower roll cages are SCCA legal and the best part about these bolt in cages is the quality. I have run one in my personal 240sx drift car, Pepsi Mazda RX8, and now the Porsche. We have installed them in STI's and EVO's. They are awesome! Plug Plug

Best part is this is $400 compared to Porsches Bar with Diagonal for $1300 or so. You can remove the diagonal and harness bar and the rear seats are still fully functional! Comes standard Black and with all hardware for installation. All you have to do is remove the seats, line it up, drill the holes. My tech did a good job on the carpet trimming as you can see. Matching the outside color it is hot!

These are also available for the 993, Boxster, and 997.

Well if you want one for your car, you know who to hit up Product located here -

All pics located here. Enjoy -

That is a serious piece and there is no "so called" going back after installing it. Eventually, that is the way I am headed.

Looks very STRONG!

Show us pics of where the bottom mounts to or bolts to (inside car pics)
I assume it requires some plate to be welded on bottom of car??

Yes you can go back and touch up the carpet. We did a very clean job. The cage does include plates that go under the feet. They do not need to be welded.

They were out, i put them back in. Looks cleaner. The seats weigh a whole 20lbs maybe. I could lose that myself!

Does the installation of the roll bar cause any limitations/restrictions with respect to seat adjustment? I ask because I'm tall and have my sport seats set all the way back with the seat backs tilted pretty far back as well.

Can you post pics with the seat as far back as it can go, including the seat back? Please include a side view from the exterior if at all possible.

Thanks,

Alex

Anything to earn a sale. Here are the pics. Best part is the middle bar is removable so if you are 8'10", your still good I am 5'9" and all the way back and tilted I could not reach anything

Here is the pic with the removable middle bar -

is this really safe for street use w/o a helmut? i've heard conflicting things about roll bars on the streets. it doesn't look safe. i'd like to get one; but i don't want my head bashed in.

Kevin,
Dan has my old sport seats in his car and I have his old GT3 seats in mine. Once Dan looses the 20 lbs he is talking about he'll be able to get another set.
