I went to get my car and it was parked all the way over the parking bump.... There is a sheild over the bottom of the trunk (attached just behind the front spoiler) that is now only 2 inches long.

Does anyone have any idea what it is there for and how much it costs?

yeah looks like whomever was driving the car probably caught it on something low to the ground. then probably put the car in reverse and it tore it out. not sure of the cost of the part though....im sure others would know

It's the center radiator exhaust duct. They're not very expensive, but I think you have to take off some of the other panels to install it correctly.

 

Indeed that is what happened. There is a short spot ont he floor where they were detailing and they pulled it over it to the wheels. I was working late and when I got out there I notice but it looked like everything had cleared. Wrong... I ended up having to put the car in neutral and push it off the parking bump while reaching underneath and holding the radiator duct in place.

I spoke to the detailer about it and he doesn't believe me so I guess he doesn't want my money anymore. Shame as I always took care of him.

Thanks for the info on what it is! I'll probably see if I can get it on a lift for that then. Is this something that needs to be done quickly or can it wait a week?
