What's the difference between a one canister or two canister exhaust/muffler and which is better in the performance department?

 

Usually performance is the same if the design is good. We have found no real difference between the single can FS and the Dual Can fabspeed other than the two can FS does not have any drone.

The two can design of any muffler with a straight through design had a very unique sound and much different than the single can. I personally like it over the single can.

 

Stephen is there really no drone with the new Fabspeed? The reason I ask is my wife now hates to ride in my 996 because of the drone of the old style Fabspeed. I just put it on the car a couple of months ago right before the new single can was out. If it makes a diff. my car is an tip., thanks John.

 

Had the same problem and the MILTEK exhaust solved it.
