Supposedly yes, but I have not had anyone actually confirm this or document what is actually different.

Can anyone add to this? I have an X50 muffler and would like to know if it could be worth a few dollars.

Dean, out of respect for the seller and the company who made it, never...never spell it that way again

Glad you like it.

At this point i can agree that the ruf 550 is the quietest out there ( although you will loose 30 Hp ) But, for inner town hard driving its has to be quieter then a loud exhuast.

My Europipe is on the car now until i hit my gt700 level, then i want to see what happens when i put the ruf on it. if i get 600 hp and be quiet, that will be the best of all worlds for what i need.

I believe the different part # is due to the fact that they bolt onto different turbos.

It may be my imagination but having test driven a few X50s and non X50's, the X50 exhaust is a bit louder / raspier.

the X-50 muffler has one less baffle. It is "slightly" louder (although still pathetic) and I think the same amount of hp.
It is not worth anything. I gave mine away, and someone "operated" on it!
