I got an "easycare" warranty for 7 years and 60K miles for less that $2,000. That's 7 years from when I bought it, which was when the car was almost 4 years old.

Maybe they have changed but they used to only sell through the dealer that sold you the car.

Got the car back and went on a 2000 mile road trip to make sure it works ;-)

The Collection did the work and I have to say that aside from the delays, which were not their fault, it was actually a pleasant experience. Everything was covered by CPO and the problem seems to be corrected.

The trip revealed no real problems except I keep getting a spoiler control faliure under heavy acceleration. Weird but it only happens when I rip through second.

Anyway, good to have her back.
