Curves4S will become famous soon enough
thats one helluva car you have, the only other person i know of who took a liter bike was Tyson in his protomotive turbo. Gotta give it up to the guy on the bike, also for having the ***** to do 160 on two wheels and no cabin.

Vanishing Point can only hope to improve
Like Evan said from a dig the bike is gonna fall behind. However from say 30 mph its a diff story.

I raced , god knows how, a F40 that pulled up next to me on Indiantown Rd going over the Intracoastal Bridge. I was shocked to even see the car let alone race it. He took off on me but by my 2nd gear I was literally flying past w/ my front tire about 2 feet off the ground as I hit 3rd. It was no contest. I could have put bus lenghts on that thing w/ no effort from 2 gear.

I have a 07 Triumph Speed Triple w/ CF Arrows cans. It is putting down 140 HP plus at the wheel and weighs in at only 390 lbs.

Oh no doubt about it those guys have bigger cajones than I do! I see the NHRA drag bikes and think those guys are seriously crazy going as fast as they do on 2 wheels! Going 6.9 in the quarter mile at nearly 200 mph on two wheels?? WOW!

Joe it is gone don't know what is was? The first time driving it after Winter storage it happened and now yesterday and today it is gone. Like you thought maybe just some condensation from the fuel sitting.

Took her on some back country curvy roads today and what a blast, so much thrust and sticks like glue! Too much fun!

I have tested an '01 R1 and my old Stage 4 TT with my accelerometer. The R1 holds about 1g acceleration through 1st gear and roll-ons under 100mph are NO CONTEST. If you beat him, he can't ride. Above 1st gear his acceleration drops off and bike and car are pulling the same g's at 135mph! If you want to beat him, you need a jump, a poor rider or start at 120(or above) and don't stop 'til you are well into 6th gear.
Just my opinion after a number of "tests"

Old R1, at that time they had 140-150hp max and weighed alot more, todays R1 has 30-40hp more and weighs significantly less.

...which means your carrera would be toast.

Plus that rider wasn't wot.

Well for one your Stage 4 had only 600 hp versus 700 plus for my GT700, secondly it is just your opinion. I am only telling what happened and it didn't seem to me that he was a poor rider. Really doesn't matter in this case the GT700 wins, that's what street racing is all about. Maybe on a different day with a different rider, blah, blah, blah. Excuses are for bench racers I only deal with reality.
