I vote for Techart. They are classic 5-spoke design yet different enough from stock to set your car apart, especially with 19"s. I think the cargraphics are too busy and they draw your eyes to the wheels too much. The techarts compliment the car without outshining it.

Lou, with the deal that you are getting on the Cargraphics, it should be a no-brainer... those wheels are going to look SICK on your car. Silver looks pretty bad ***, just take a look at the Cargraphic car that was entered in the EC Shootout!!!
Exactly, I don't even know what I am contemplating. That deal is the best and anyone would jump on it. I guess what I was looking for is someone that has seen a black turbo with the Cargraphic Racing wheels in person. It is so difficult for me to tell from pictures. I am not really analytic, but rather, much more business/math minded. Anyway, I guess I know your vote! You seen one in person?

First off, good luck in your choice, either way.

It's amazing how people have such different opinions and tastes.

I think asking the question "which wheels look better" is like talking about religion or politics. There is no answer. It's a matter of personal preference or opinion.

You are the one that drives the car every day, and only you know what makes you "feel good".

You've already said you are after looks, but are you wanting something that you think looks best, something that other Porsche enthusiasts think look best, or something that the average person on the street thinks looks best?

Are you looking for approval from your Porsche peers? Are you looking for something that when you drive down main street every person that sees you will say "damn that car is nice"? Or are you looking for something that you think is nice looking?

No offense, but what is the point of your asking the question in the first place? What are you trying to accomplish? Do you really base these types of decisions on what other people think? Do you own a Porsche only so you can try to impress others?

No offense, really. This is a serious post. I think if you really think about what I've said you will find the answer to your question.
I find it pretty normal when confused by a situation to ask several opinions. All I am trying to gauge is what people who have actually seen the wheels in person think about the wheels. I have only seen pictures, I do not want to buy a set of wheels and later find out they look like ****. To be honest, if I never asked the opinions on this board, I would have a set of HRE 542R and I am sure I would be spending $100's of dollars a month waiting for bent rims to be repaired. My next best chioice looks wise were the ROH Modena. Luckily, I asked and found out that they have QC issues and are poorly made. So, you see, this board is a tool to pick the brains of individuals who have experience viewing and using wheels that I have no experience with.

Lou, before my ex blue monster had the Work racing wheels, it had the 19" Cargraphic Racing wheels. Wilber used to work for Cargraphic way back when and they were hands down the best looking wheels I have ever seen on a Turbo.

I also saw the 19" Cargraphic racing on the black Turbo that was entered at the Shootout. Yes, it had a GT2 bodykit and all, but those wheels did look pretty bad ***.

The way I see it, I think those Cargraphics are going to look sweet on your Turbo and especially in Chicago, where they will REALLY stand out. Those wheels look serious since it is a racing mesh pattern and definitely look more expensive than the TechArts.

If that is the case, you might want to rephrase your question.

"I am going for agressive, best looking wheel of the two for a black turbo ... Please do not hold punches and tell me what you guys think..."

Your original question clearly indicates you are looking for other peoples' opinions on which wheels look the "best" and "most aggressive". Not trying to be an ***, I'm trying to help. Really.

If you really think about it, I think you'll have an easier time deciding on what will make *you* happy.

Listen, I THINK, you best take your prevocation elsewhere. I think I phrased my question just fine as I have made a desicion. Worry about your own posts and there outcomes, I'll worry about myself, hoiw I ask a question and I will deem if I get the desired results. If you heppen to view the number of posts, views, and responses, my question had the desired effect. You can leave any additional posts to answering the question, WHICH WHEEL DO YOU LIKE BETTER??? Not that difficult

I have no idea what the **** this guy jpatrick is talking about. Is this some sort of psychology class?

Lou, just get the Cargraphics and call it a day. If you end up not liking them, I bet you can sell them pretty quick for a very minimal loss!

You know it buddy. Everything will be in order, don't you worry. I fear though if I take it up a notch, you may not remember any of the night instead of only forgetting half the night like last time.

Your vehicle, your money..place YOUR choice on the car. Put on whatever PLEASES **YOU** the most. Forget other's opinions. I'm really tired of politically/consensus correct.

Lou

Have you considered Cargraphic Avalanche wheel in 19" or the SSR GT3's?

I feel you asked your question right in your original post, wheels are probably the hardest decision to make, it took me forever to decide and I am still not sure I made the right decision

I feel this forum is to help each other in the same interests we share so for these guys telling you to reword your question should just keep their opinions to themself

Go with your GUT feeling and I am sure it will be the right decision
Still waiting for my HRE's

Good Luck
